Turkish Oud Mahogany Underbridge-Pickup
The standard Turkish oud is designed for advanced level musicians. The body of the instrument is crafted meticulously with 21 slices of sapelli mahogany wood. During the construction of the body, thin white lining (inlay) has been placed between the segments, enhancing its visual appeal.
Pelisander wood has been used for the fingerboard and tuning pegs. These are highly durable woods, preventing wear on the fingerboard during playing and minimizing tuning issues in varying temperature conditions, thereby extending the lifespan of the tuning pegs.
Designed for stage performance, it maintains the natural acoustic sound of the oud through its underbridge pickup, making it a stage-ready instrument without compromising its acoustic qualities.”
