Dede-Balta-Kopuz Saz and Cura Models

The Dede-Balta-Kopuz and Cura Saz Models we use in production are carefully made of carved mulberry wood. Carved mulberry wooden trough are dried for at least 3 years and above. There are no problems such as Handle and Cover collapse.

Our Dede – Balta – Cura models, which we manufacture, are available in wooden trough lengths between 22-41cm. Among these models, we have 7-wire, 6-wire, 5-wire, 4-wire and 3-wire varieties available. Because it is completely hand-carved, the wooden trough sizes vary.

Balta Sazı ( Dede, Kopuz, Ruzba ) is a type of binding in the binding family. He got this name because his wooden trough resembles the mouth of an ax, tapering at the bottom. It is distinguished from other bindings by the fact that its timbre, as well as its appearance, is quite different.

it has a 7-6-5-3 wire, and is executed in a lacing pattern. Most importantly, it is played without the use of tezene, and it has a very satisfying sound for accompaniment. In addition, there is a timbre in the whirl (in Alevi’s folk song) that affects a person.
