The Turkish Oud Black-Paduca is a professional Oud known for its high sound quality. Specifically designed for stage performances, this model delivers outstanding sound performance.
The face of the instrument is crafted from oven-dried spruce wood, providing a rich and balanced sound output. The neck, made of durable walnut wood, ensures robustness. The fingerboard, crafted from ebony wood offers a sturdy surface.
The body comprises a combination of black-paduca woods, contributing to a powerful and rich sound character. The rosettes, made from plexiglass, enhances its durability.
You can opt for either a walnut or black bridge. The nut is made of ebony or bone material.
The fingerboard width is 3.8 cm at the upper part and 5.8 cm at the lower part of the neck. The scale length is 19.5 cm for the neck, 49.5 cm for the body, 36-37 cm for the width, and 18 cm for the depth. The distance between the two nuts is 58.5 cm.
The body consists of 21 slices. There are 11 strings on the instrument. A glossy polyester finish is applied to protect the instrument’s outer surface, providing an aesthetic appearance. Tuning pegs are available in ebony or rosewood.
