Turkish Saz Carved-Body Chestnut Ebony Fingerboard Chestnut Sitka Spruce
It’s a saz model distinguished by its carved chestnut body and ebony keyboard. The body of this saz is made from carefully selected chestnut wood that has been dried for 10 years or more, offering durability and rich tones. Additionally, the neck and face are made from carefully chosen materials and kiln-dried for approximately 4-5 years. This process enhances the saz’s durability and prevents issues like neck bending or soundboard sinking.
The body is shaped using hand-carving techniques, giving the saz an aesthetic appearance and quality sound. It features a high-quality Sitka Spruce face, known for its superior sound quality and warm tones.
The hornbeam neck provides a sturdy structure and offers a comfortable playing experience. The fingerboard is made of ebony or pelisander with mother of pearl dots. Please specify your preference for ebony or pelisander in your note. These fingerboards not only provide an aesthetic appearance but also facilitate easy finger positioning.
The glossy polyester finish both protects the instrument and adds an aesthetic touch.
Ebony pegs provide precise and easy tuning options.
Due to its hand-carved nature, the body length can vary between 38-42cm.
